Patricia Felton didn't leave much doubt at the top of the F75-79 age group. The 77-year-old Clovis resident crossed in 49:14, running 15:51 per mile — a pace that put her more than four minutes ahead of anyone else in the group. At 77, winning an age group that skews younger than her is its own statement.

Vivian Franco of Fresno claimed second in 53:16, running 17:09 per mile. The gap to Felton was real and consistent — this wasn't a race that came down to a late surge — but Franco held a comfortable 5:07 cushion over third place, making her runner-up finish secure in its own right.

Lucille Epperson, also 75 and also from Clovis, completed the age group in 58:23 at 18:48 per mile. With three finishers spread across nearly nine minutes total, the F75-79 group had clear separation at every position — but the real story is simply that all three women showed up, covered 3.1 miles through Fresno on a Sunday morning, and finished. At 75 and beyond, that's worth celebrating with a number attached: 49:14, 53:16, 58:23.
