Claire Puttock owned the F30-34 age group from start to finish. Ally Kornelis made the back half count. The gap to Puttock was real — 3:33 — but Kornelis ran herself into a strong result. Third place, the anonymous 33-year-old at 1:38:50, held 10th among women and finished a further 6:09 back, rounding out a clear top three.

Behind the podium, the race told a tale of two trajectories. Karina Trejo (4th, 1:49:15) was the most dynamic finisher in the chasing pack — she moved from 37th to 33rd among women after the 10K, running the 29th-fastest women's closing split to pull away from the cluster behind her. Brenda Leyva (5th, 1:52:41) and Amy Pereira (6th, 1:52:51) were separated by just 10 seconds, while Holly Hurd (7th, 1:53:07) was only 16 seconds further back — three runners within 26 seconds across places 5 through 7. In a field of 81, that kind of bunching made for a genuinely competitive midpack race even as Puttock was long finished.
