• Alyssa Anguiano closed strong to finish 2nd in 52:50, climbing three spots among women in the final mile to earn runner-up honors — 1:38 back of Lopez.
• July Alvarez was the most aggressive early mover, sitting 13th among women at the 1-mile mark before fading to 21st — still good enough for 5th in F30-34 in 56:23.
• A tight cluster from 7th through 11th: Andrea Cross (59:13), Simrandeep Nijjar (59:17), Anna-Marie Cerda (59:37), Cassie Yoshikawa (59:39), and Katherine Vuchkov (59:43) — five athletes separated by just 30 seconds.

Geleeza Lopez owned this race from start to finish. Running 8:14/mi, she held 6th among women through the early going and then ticked up one more spot in the final stretch, crossing in 51:12 — a full 1:38 clear of the field. That winning margin was never really in doubt.

Alyssa Anguiano made the most compelling move of the race. Sitting 14th among women at the 1-mile checkpoint, she reeled off the 16th-fastest women's closing split to surge to 11th among women and claim 2nd in F30-34 at 52:50 (8:30/mi). Audrey Cavazos rounded out the podium in 54:32 (8:47/mi), holding her position steadily through the final mile for 3rd. Nayeli Flores (56:04) and July Alvarez (56:23) filled out the top five, though Alvarez's story ran in the other direction — she was 13th among women at the mile before slipping to 21st by the finish, losing ground in the closing stretch despite a 5th-place F30-34 result.

Behind the top five, the race got genuinely crowded. Maggie Huizar (6th, 58:26) and Andrea Cross (7th, 59:13) led a pack of five runners — Cross through Vuchkov — who all finished between 59:13 and 59:43. In a 59-finisher age group that stretched well past the 20 listed here, that kind of density made every second count.
