Behind Mann, the early intrigue belonged to Jassiel Tinoco, who moved from 4th to 3rd among non-binary runners by the 2-mile mark and locked it in from there. Tinoco's 54:59 finish (11:04/mi) included the 3rd-fastest non-binary split on that same middle segment — a sign of real mid-race momentum. Kevin Machuga of Hazel Park, MI was the field's model of consistency, running 12:23/mi and finishing 3rd in 1:01:33 without ever shifting position.
