Running at a 16:04/mi average, she steadily climbed through the women's field over the course of the 8K, moving from 3,370th among women at the 2-mile mark to 3,221st by the finish. Her strongest segment came on the 4M-to-Finish stretch, where she posted the 2,935th-fastest split among all women — her sharpest effort of the day, closing the race out with purpose.

Behind Ramirez, the real battle was between Charlotte Rhodes and Pat Donohue. Rhodes, 84, held the upper hand at 1:28:41 (17:50/mi), with Donohue, 81, finishing 1:31 back in 1:30:12 (18:09/mi).
