Nathaniel Moore didn't just win the Masters Men 5K — he ran in a different zip code. His 17:17 at 5:34/mi was a performance that belonged to a different conversation entirely from the rest of the field. Sergio Perez crossed in 21:03 for second, running a solid 6:47/mi pace, but that still left a 3:46 gap back to Moore. In a 5K, that's not a race — that's a statement.

Behind Perez, the real drama unfolded in a tight cluster fighting for the podium. Nate Kucera (45, Fresno) took third in 22:30, but Robert Boshart made the afternoon's most compelling sub-story: at age 60, he ran 22:45 to claim fourth, finishing just three seconds ahead of Brad Butler's 22:48 in fifth. Boshart's run at 7:19/mi pace was a genuine statement from the older end of the Masters field, and he very nearly had the podium to show for it.

David Rubenstein rounded out the top six in 23:06, while a tight pack formed further back — Lue Xiong (24:23), Armando Castillo (24:28), and Nathan Lev (24:31) were separated by just eight seconds across three places. Raul Rodriguez, 61, added another strong showing from the senior end of the field with a 24:58 for tenth. All told, 118 men finished the Masters race across a spread that reflected the full range of competitive fire this field brought to Fresno on October 29th.
