Two Cities Marathon 5K — M60-64: Boshart Dominates in Dominant Fashion

• Robert Boshart (1st, 22:45) won the M60-64 group by a commanding 2:13 margin, running a 7:19/mi pace that stood apart from the rest of the field.
• Raul Rodriguez (2nd, 24:58) was the clear runner-up at 8:02/mi, finishing more than 10 minutes clear of 3rd place.
• Audon Avila, Chris Fiorentino, and Dennis Huffman clustered tightly at 3rd, 4th, and 5th — separated by just 1:15 across 35:16 to 36:31.
• Thomas Monahan (18th, 58:31) rounded out an 18-man M60-64 field that spanned more than 35 minutes from first to last.

Robert Boshart, age 60 and racing in his hometown of Fresno, made this one look easy. His 22:45 finish at 7:19/mi wasn't just a win — it was a statement. Rodriguez, a Clovis man of 61, was a clear and legitimate second at 24:58, running a solid 8:02/mi, but the gap between him and Boshart was never really in doubt. Between these two and the rest of the field, a chasm opened: third place didn't arrive until 35:16.

That middle tier — Avila, Fiorentino, and Huffman — produced the group's tightest racing. Avila (3rd, 35:16, 11:21/mi) edged Fiorentino (4th, 36:12, 11:39/mi) by 56 seconds, with Huffman (5th, 36:31, 11:45/mi) just 19 seconds further back. Three men, 75 seconds, and a genuine battle for the bronze.

Behind them, Enrique Lopez (6th, 38:55) held off Aaron Pucay (7th, 42:48) and Steven Sheesley (8th, 43:10) before the field spread out considerably through the back half. Edgar Aduana (9th, 50:24) through Thomas Monahan (18th, 58:31) covered the final ten spots across a tight eight-minute window, a testament to a group of M60-64 competitors who came out to Fresno on a late October morning and got the job done.
