Two Cities Marathon 5K — F55-59: Lisacrouch Laps the Field

• Lisa Lisacrouch won the F55-59 age group in 21:41 (6:59/mi) — nearly 6:40 faster than runner-up Cheryl Solem's 28:20.
• Cheryl Solem (2nd, 28:20) and Diane Wells (3rd, 31:27) completed the podium, separated by just over three minutes.
• Sabina Roldan (4th, 34:52) and Alice Millhollen (5th, 35:13) were the closest battle of the day — just 21 seconds apart at the line.
• 38 women finished in the F55-59 age group, with times ranging from 21:41 to well past the hour mark.

Lisa Lisacrouch ran a race in a category of her own. Her 6:59/mi pace through the streets of Fresno was a full two minutes per mile faster than anyone else in the F55-59 field — Cheryl Solem's 9:07/mi was strong, but the gap at the finish line told the whole story: Lisacrouch crossed in 21:41, nearly six and a half minutes ahead of second place in a 5K. That's not a win; that's a statement.

Solem held second place comfortably, finishing in 28:20 and more than three minutes clear of Diane Wells (3rd, 31:27, at 10:07/mi). Both Solem and Wells are Clovis runners, and they made their city well-represented on the podium. Behind them, Sabina Roldan (4th, 34:52) and Alice Millhollen (5th, 35:13) waged the afternoon's tightest duel — 21 seconds over 3.1 miles is a finish worth savoring.

The middle of the field brought a lively cluster of competitors. Rhanda Wells (6th, 38:49), Patricia Bloodgood (7th, 39:13), Manjit Kaur (8th, 39:58), Krishna Singh (9th, 40:14), and Tina Wheeler (10th, 40:23) all finished within a two-minute window, making places 6 through 10 genuinely competitive. Stacey Byers rounded out the top 11 in 41:04. With 38 finishers across the age group — including 18 beyond the 20th position — the F55-59 field showed real depth on a late-October morning in Fresno.
