Behind Bulleri, the real racing happened. Jacob Hurd and Mark Petalcorin both clocked 6:44 per mile and came across within three seconds of each other, with Hurd claiming 3rd and Petalcorin settling for 4th. Julian Marin (21:32) and Charles Triana (22:04) kept things competitive through 5th and 6th, but neither could close on the Hurd-Petalcorin battle ahead of them.
