With 83% humidity and a 15 mph wind rolling through Cleveland, conditions were anything but friendly on race morning — and Jennifer Colvin made it look easy anyway. The 37-year-old from Cincinnati ran 6:37 per mile to win the F35-39 age group outright, finishing nearly a minute clear of her nearest challenger. That's not a close race; that's a statement.

Hannah Gendelman, also 37 and racing out of Beachwood, was the only other woman in the group to crack 22 minutes, crossing in 21:32 at 6:56/mi. She ran a composed, strong race — just had the misfortune of sharing a start line with Colvin. Claire Vredevoogd of Cleveland rounded out the podium in 24:48, a comfortable 3rd but well off the pace of the top two.

The real action in the mid-pack was a tight cluster from 4th through 9th place. Jenna Haney (26:18), Erin Dacyczyn (26:44), Christina Coleman (27:51), Alisha Anderson (28:02), Naomi King (28:20), and Abby Turza (28:31) were separated by just over two minutes across six spots — a genuine battle in the humidity that came down to who held their form in the final stretch. Sharon Ready rounded out the top ten in 29:20, capping a competitive group of 108 finishers in the F35-39 age group.
