Cheryl Patry delivered the sharpest performance of the day in F60-64, crossing in 27:28 at 8:50 per mile — and doing it at age 64, the oldest of the top finishers. That's a commanding effort, and the margin over second place tells the story: Ann Collins (Painted Post, NY) ran a solid 8:59/mi to finish in 27:55, but Patry had already built a gap that Collins couldn't close. Sally Dewes of Schenectady rounded out the podium in 28:13, running 9:05/mi for a clean third.

Behind the podium, the racing stayed tight and competitive deep into the standings. Diana Noviasky (4th, 28:41) and Sheryl Horton (5th, 28:46) were separated by just five seconds, and Beth Talbot (6th, 28:57) and Mary Kaye (7th, 29:04) kept the pressure on through the finish.
