• Shannon Jones, 40, of Ormond Beach, FL, was the top masters finisher, crossing in 18:20 (5:54/mi) for 2nd among the women.
• Ashley Rathbun improved from 2nd here in 2025 (20:30) to 3rd in 2026 (19:05) — a 1:25 improvement on the same course.
• Mia Rugari, just 16, climbed from 8th here in 2024 (21:47) to 5th in 2026 (19:57) — nearly two minutes faster across two editions.

Dorcas Huang, 32, from Philadelphia, set the pace that nobody could match. Her 18:04 at 5:49/mi was the fastest women's finish of the day, and Shannon Jones was the closest challenger — running 5:54/mi to land 2nd in 18:20. That 16-second gap was the decisive margin at the front, and Jones's performance is worth underlining on its own terms: at 40, she outran a women's field of 2,368 finishers to claim the runner-up spot.

Ashley Rathbun's day told a compelling year-over-year story. She was 2nd here in 2025 with a 20:30, and she came back to run 19:05 — a full 1:25 faster — landing 3rd this time around. That's a meaningful improvement on the same course, even if it dropped her one podium spot in a faster field. Kelly Fisher (4th, 19:46, 6:22/mi) and 16-year-old Mia Rugari (5th, 19:57, 6:25/mi) rounded out the top five, with Rugari's trajectory particularly striking: she ran 21:47 for 8th here in 2024, and shaved nearly two minutes off that to crack the top five in 2026.

The youth contingent made its presence felt throughout the top 20. N. Pokines, just 10 years old from Rome, NY, ran 20:46 (6:41/mi) for 6th. Sierra Townsend, 15, from Clinton, finished 8th in 21:02. Kylie Murray, 17, improved from 9th here in 2024 (22:08) to 11th in 21:27 — another athlete trending sharply in the right direction. Jennifer Conover, 51, of Oriskany, slotted in between them in 7th at 20:51, a strong showing from one of the field's most experienced competitors.
