Mary Ford, 59, of Clovis, crossed in 1:00:31 at a 9:44/mi clip to claim the F55-59 crown on a warm November morning in Fresno — 74°F and clear, conditions that made every minute of pace feel earned. Her 96th-fastest women's split on the final push to the finish reflected a strong close, and she gained 18 places among women in that stretch, moving from 113th to 95th. Neighbor and fellow Clovis runner Audrey Monke, 58, finished 34 seconds back in 1:01:05, holding steady through the second half (108th to 106th among women) to lock up second.

Third place went to Fresno's Jodi Volkman, 57, in 1:01:33 — the most aggressive mover of the trio. She arrived at the one-mile mark sitting 131st among women and finished 108th, a gain of 23 spots. Her 109th-fastest women's split in that closing segment was just a tick behind Monke's 104th, meaning Volkman was actually running the faster pace late in the race — she just ran out of real estate to close the 28-second gap to second.

Fourth place saw a different story. Martha Soto, 55, of Fresno, was running 81st among women through the early going at a pace that suggested a podium challenge, but she finished in 1:06:05 (10:38/mi) and slid to 162nd among women by the end — a drop of 81 spots that opened a 4:32 gap back to Volkman. Olayinka Omololu of Visalia rounded out the top five in 1:08:41. Behind them, 20 women finished across a wide range from Kristin Sanders (6th, 1:12:58) through the back of the listed field, with 25 total completing the F55-59 race.
