Nicole Dallaire set the tone from the gun in the F0-14 field. Starting 259th among women, she steadily climbed to 176th by the finish — a relentless forward march at 8:07 per mile through 55°F humidity that most adults would find taxing. Her 1:46:26 was a commanding performance, and her 134th-fastest women's split on the 15K-to-20K segment showed she wasn't just holding on — she was still pressing at that stage of the race.

Behind her, Molly Christophel held 2nd in 2:01:48, but the real drama unfolded in the fight for 3rd. Summer Thomassy and Olivia Thomas ran nearly the entire race within striking distance of each other, with Thomas actually sitting higher in the women's field through the 10K mark. But Thomassy — who had faded deep in the women's standings through the first half — came roaring back with the 217th-fastest 20K-to-finish split among all women, while Thomas slipped back. The result: Thomassy 3rd in 2:03:01, Thomas 4th in 2:03:18, separated by 17 seconds. Rae Gardner made a similar late charge, climbing from 994th among women at the 5K to 727th at the line with the 165th-fastest closing split in the women's field, finishing 5th in 2:05:19.

Rounding out the ten-finisher field, Olivia Daley (2:27:35) and Karthika Nisaraj (2:58:17) — both 12 years old — each crossed the finish line of a half marathon, a genuine feat at that age. Lillian Ward closed out the group in 3:18:00 at 15:06 per mile, completing all 13.1 miles on a humid Virginia Beach morning.
