Running at a 10:02/mi clip through a warm November morning in Folsom — 74°F with humidity pushing toward 60% — she built her winning margin methodically, moving from 56th among women at the first checkpoint all the way to 32nd by the finish. That late charge was real: her Mile 10→Finish split ranked 17th among all women in the race, a genuinely fast piece of running when legs are usually crying for mercy.

Karen Davenport kept pace with Mosqueda's trajectory, tracking from 44th to 35th among women and posting the 30th-fastest Mile 10→Finish split in the women's field. The 2:29 gap between them tells the story — Davenport ran a strong, composed race, but Mosqueda's closing speed was simply a cut above. Mai Nakamoto rounded out the podium in 2:33:44, gaining 26 places among women across the afternoon and running the 52nd-fastest Mile 10→Finish split in the field — a solid finish in her own right.
