• Ruth Ann Rooker held 18th among women at the 8-mile mark but faded to 29th by the finish, her 58th-fastest women's closing split costing her the runner-up spot — she crossed in 1:51:29.
• Sarah Baron and Sofia Andreola were separated by just 2 seconds at the line (1:52:53 vs. 1:52:55), with Baron's stronger close — 31st-fastest women's split vs. Andreola's 46th — deciding 3rd and 4th in the age group.

The battle for 3rd was the race's sharpest finish: Baron and Andreola crossed in 1:52:53 and 1:52:55, two seconds separating them after more than 13 miles. Andreola had actually been running ahead of Baron at 8 miles (31st among women vs. 39th), but Baron's stronger close flipped the result. A field of 64 finishers in the F30-34 age group rounded out with Light and Trotter staging their own mini-duel — one second apart at the line, with Light holding 6th by the thinnest of margins.
