Behind her, Bonnie Legro of Baltimore made her move in the middle third of the race, posting a strong 5K→10K split to lock down second place at 1:23:01. Lee Catella of Oneonta, running at 73, was steady throughout and came home third in 1:26:43, her second-half split strong enough to keep the podium comfortably in hand.
