Running through clear Fresno skies at 74°F, she crossed the line in 2:29:35 — a pace of 11:25 per mile sustained for the full 13.1 miles — to claim the age group title outright.

What's particularly striking is how Aguiniga Espinoza finished. Her 10K-to-finish split ranked 338th among all women in the race — meaning she was moving through the back half of the course with genuine purpose, holding her own against a much broader women's field.
