• Lauren Bernadett (36, Nevada City) won the F30-39 group in 1:46:32 — an 8:08/mi average — and posted the 2nd-fastest women's split on the Out & Back→Lap 1 segment across the entire women's field.
• Karen Horvath (36, Citrus Heights) finished 2nd in 1:50:01, closing with the 5th-fastest women's Lap 1→Finish split to hold off the rest of the group by a comfortable margin.
• Chantra Siggard (33, Lincoln) rounded out the podium in 1:58:45, the only other finisher under two hours.
• Kim Peterson (37, Winters) was the quiet mover of the race, climbing from 12th among women at mid-race all the way to 9th by the finish.

Nine women toed the line in the F30-39 age group on a raw Sacramento morning — 51°F, light rain, and a 14 mph wind that made every honest pace feel a little harder. Lauren Bernadett made those conditions look irrelevant. She sat 5th among women out of the gate, surged to 3rd by the Out & Back→Lap 1 checkpoint on the strength of the 2nd-fastest women's split at that stage, and ultimately crossed in 1:46:32. That 8:08/mi average was a clear statement in conditions that invited caution.

Karen Horvath tracked a steadier arc — 6th among women through the first two checkpoints — before her 5th-fastest women's Lap 1→Finish split carried her home in 1:50:01, a 3:29 gap back to Bernadett and a comfortable cushion over the rest. Chantra Siggard (1:58:45, 9:04/mi) was solid throughout, moving from 8th to 7th among women and locking up 3rd in the age group. Kim Peterson was the race's best back-half story: 12th among women at both early checkpoints, she reeled in competitors over the final leg to finish 9th in the women's field and 4th in the age group at 2:03:54.

Behind the top four, Amy Serna (2:08:01), Soraya Anderson (2:11:00), Gina Cole (2:43:54), Alena Hansen (2:52:58), and Allison Cross (3:00:53) all earned their finishes on a day when the weather made simply completing 13.1 miles a genuine accomplishment.
