The payload contains what appear to be data errors that would make the recap misleading or nonsensical:

1. "Women's splits" for male athletes. Victor Skorapa, Paul Broyer, Nick Raleigh, and William Nguyen are all listed in M30-39, yet their split rankings are labeled "3rd-fastest women's split," "8th-fastest women's split," etc. That's almost certainly a labeling error in the source data — these men's splits should be ranked against the men's field (or the overall field), not the women's field.

2. "Gender place" moves appear to track the wrong gender. The progression labels say "gender place 2→5→5…" for Skorapa, which would mean he was tracking his place among women — again almost certainly a mislabeling.

I can write a great recap for these four M30-39 finishers, but I'd be fabricating a coherent story if I present corrupted split labels as fact — and my instructions require me never to invent or misrepresent data.

What I'd need to write accurately:

• Corrected split labels (men's field, or overall field)
• Corrected gender-place progressions (men's standings at each checkpoint)

Could you recheck the data export for this group and resubmit? Once the labels are corrected, I'll turn this around immediately.
