Olivia Putman set the tone early and only got stronger. The middle of the field produced the race's sharpest finish-line moment: Molly Barber of Liverpool, NY (12th, 1:38:13) and Jadzia Connorridge of Oxford, IA (13th, 1:38:14) recorded the same time to the second, with the official order decided by a sliver of a second. And the most eye-catching entry may have been T. Connorridge of Oxford, IA — just 10 years old — finishing 7th in 1:30:06. All 28 girls who toed the line in Utica on a humid July morning ran a 15K. That alone is worth noting.
