Victoria Corbett, 26, from Burlington, Ontario, turned this into a solo effort almost from the gun. Running 7:33/mi through 59°F and a stiff 14 mph wind off the Bay, she held 8th among all women from the opening miles and never wavered from that position through the back half, finishing 8th among women overall. Her 9th-fastest women's split on the 2M–4M stretch showed she wasn't coasting early — she was pushing, and the field simply couldn't answer. The gap to 2nd place Bella Kuo, 26, of Santa Clara, was 6 minutes and 33 seconds.

Behind Corbett, the race for the podium was genuinely compelling. Kuo ran a measured 8:03/mi to claim 2nd in 1:45:29, but Grace Cho (San Francisco, 1:45:49) and Xi Zhang (Belmont, 1:45:58) were right on her heels — Cho posting the 35th-fastest women's split on the 4M–6M segment as she worked her way up from 43rd among women to 42nd by the line. Zhang, who had tracked in the 26th women's position early, gradually faded through the middle miles before steadying to 4th. Nine seconds separated 3rd from 4th; 29 covered the entire 2nd-through-4th spread.

Katherine Westcott's race deserves its own sentence: she was 117th among women at the 2-mile mark and 51st at the finish, a relentless climb sustained over 11 miles of San Francisco's rolling terrain. Her 8:11/mi average and 40th-fastest second-half women's split tell the story of a runner who got stronger as others faded. Amanda Wong (6th, 1:47:35), Christine Sih Chin Ng (7th, 1:47:41), and Olivia Rupprecht (8th, 1:47:44) finished within nine seconds of each other — a tight cluster rounding out a competitive top ten in one of the race's largest fields.
