And she didn't get there by coasting home — Broderick posted the fastest women's closing split on the Snow King to finish stretch, putting an exclamation mark on a wire-to-wire performance that was never seriously in doubt.

Behind her, the podium battle was a study in contrasts. Paige Kouba (31:42) ran a composed race to hold 2nd, while Pauline Loulier (32:02) and Keelie Bishop (32:51) waged the most compelling duel of the day.
