No one else in F50-54 came close to her finishing time — Wendy Mader's runner-up 44:30 trailed her by 52 seconds, a comfortable margin in a field of 1,770. Beaver's strength was sustained and late: her 132nd-fastest women's split on the 5M-to-finish segment confirmed she was still accelerating as others faded, capping a race in which she improved her women's field position at every single checkpoint.

Mader, also 53 and running out of Marietta, was the most dramatic mover among the top five.
