That closing effort moved her from 154th to 150th among all women — a steady, controlled performance that no one in the F50-54 field could match. Her nearest challenger, Hisako Pradhan, finished in 55:56 running 9:00/mi, while May Chen rounded out the podium in 56:01 at 9:01/mi. Those 5 seconds between 2nd and 3rd masked a meaningful difference in how the final stretch unfolded: Pradhan ran the 239th-fastest closing split among women, while Chen faded to 411th — meaning Pradhan was the one making up time late, and Chen was holding on.

Just behind the podium, the race was a genuine scrum. Maureen Flanigan (4th, 56:23) and Jennifer Chu (5th, 56:27) were separated by four seconds, with Shannon Kirkwood (6th, 56:36) and Narantsetseg Hyde (7th, 56:43) close behind. Flanigan and Chu both faded slightly on the closing stretch — their split ranks of 322nd and 299th among women suggest neither was accelerating to the line.
