Under cool, damp San Francisco skies — 57°F and 93% humidity — Levi Myers ran a composed, controlled race from start to finish. The 16-year-old from San Francisco posted a 6:17/mi average to win in 39:05, never relinquishing his lead. Carson Rea (39:27, 6:21/mi) pushed him throughout but couldn't close the gap, finishing 22 seconds back in 2nd. Milan Pantel of Berlin rounded out the podium in 40:35 (6:32/mi), with 15-year-old Vihaan Sanghvi of Fremont just 8 seconds behind him in 4th at 40:43.

The race's most dramatic move came from James Kuduk. The 19-year-old from Harleysville, PA was sitting 70th in the men's field at the 4.62-mile mark before unleashing a closing kick that was the 14th-fastest split on that segment among all women runners — a blistering finish that rocketed him to 47th in the men's field and 5th among the under-19s in 41:37. That's a finish 2:08 faster than 6th-place Jordan Groocock (42:47), making Kuduk's late charge one of the defining moments of the race.

The middle of the leaderboard produced its own drama. Nishil Sanikommu, Giovanny Chable, and Jordan Wiley crossed the line in a genuine photo-finish cluster — 46:46, 46:47, and 46:47 — with timing chips doing the work of sorting 10th through 12th place.
