Elaina Clancy arrived from Tacoma and made herself impossible to miss. Running 6:07/mi through 56-degree mist, she crossed in 1:20:15 to claim the F20-29 title — and the fourth-fastest women's closing split from 7M to the finish confirmed she was accelerating when it counted. At her position in the women's field, she actually moved from 3rd to 4th among all women by the line, meaning the competition at the front was fierce across every age group — but within F20-29, the race was hers.

Behind her, the story was about who closed hardest. Julia Schultz (1:21:28, 6:13/mi) ran the fifth-fastest women's split on that final stretch and climbed from 7th to 5th among all women — a genuine surge that earned her the runner-up spot by 54 seconds over 3rd-place Carolyn Smith. Smith, just 21 years old from Mountain View, ran a composed 1:22:22 (6:17/mi) with the 10th-fastest women's closing split to hold her position. Katie Chu (1:22:29, 6:18/mi) posted the seventh-fastest women's closing split and finished just seven seconds behind Smith — a tight battle for the final podium spot that Chu couldn't quite overturn.

Clara Lin rounded out the top five in 1:23:35 (6:23/mi), and then the field spread out: Eden Winslow went 1:26:06 (6:34/mi) in 6th, and Julia Day (1:27:20, 6:40/mi) and Maeve Roach (1:28:07, 6:43/mi) filled out 7th and 8th. Kelsey Tierney (1:28:19) and Evelin Ramirez (1:28:29) — both running 6:44–6:45/mi — rounded out the top ten within ten seconds of each other, a fitting close to a competitive morning for 218 finishers in F20-29.
