Santa Rosa 5K 2025: Angelica Lerro Leads a Sharp F20-29 Field

• Winner: Angelica Lerro (Ocean City, NJ), 21:46 — a 7:00/mi pace that put 25 seconds between her and runner-up Amanda Craig (22:11).

Angelica Lerro set the tone from the jump, running 7:00/mi to cross in 21:46 and claim the F20-29 title. The 27-year-old from Ocean City, NJ was the class of the field on a mild Santa Rosa morning — 63°F with barely a breath of wind — and her winning margin of 25 seconds over Amanda Craig (22:11, 7:08/mi) was decisive without being runaway. Craig, 29, from Camarillo, was clearly the second-best runner on the day and held off a significant gap to third.

Carlee Miller of Foster City completed the podium in 23:14 (7:29/mi), finishing a full minute behind Craig but more than 48 seconds clear of fourth place — so while the top three were settled, the race for bronze was its own story. Behind her, the battle for 4th and 5th was genuinely close: Lincoln's Hannah Treinen ran 24:02 to hold off Monterey's Mariela Martin Del Campo, who crossed in 24:05. Three seconds after 3.1 miles is as tight as it gets.

The top-seven was rounded out by a trio of Millers — Carlee (3rd), Abigail (6th, 24:39), and Olivia (7th, 24:42) — who between them bookended a tidy 4th-through-7th cluster where every finisher came in between 24:02 and 24:42. Angelina Vigil of Rohnert Park (8th, 25:09) was the lone local name in the top ten, and Caitlin Exton (10th, 25:26) and Lauren-Frances Wood (11th, 25:35) closed out an impressive run of sub-26-minute finishes to start the F20-29 results.
