This appears to be a data error in the payload — I cannot accurately write a recap using gender-placement data that contradicts the athletes' age group classification. Doing so would either mislead readers or require me to invent information.

I'd recommend checking the data pipeline for these two finishers. It's possible their gender was mis-tagged in the timing system, or the split/place references were pulled from the wrong gender bucket.
