Nate Meiners, 31, from Easton, MD, delivered the defining performance in M30-39. Running a 9:12/mi average across a course that climbs from 6,200 to nearly 8,800 feet — thin air that doesn't forgive anyone who misjudges effort — Meiners held a composed, consistent line through the field, hovering between 31st and 33rd among all men for most of the race before sealing the win. His margin of victory was unambiguous: no one in the field came within three and a half minutes of him.

Thomas Brauer, 37, from nearby Norden, CA, made his move on the back half of the course. After sitting 39th among men at the High Camp checkpoint, he reeled in several competitors to finish 34th overall among men — a quiet but meaningful surge that locked up 2nd in M30-39. Kameron Harder (Flagstaff, AZ) mirrored that trajectory even more sharply: 45th among men at the opening checkpoint, he climbed steadily to 36th by the finish, claiming 3rd.

The battle for 4th and 5th was close but settled. Brandon Miller (Calgary, AB) finished in 2:21:03, with Shaun Burke (Colorado, CO) just two minutes back at 2:23:04. Burke's High Camp→Finish split — 36th-fastest in the men's field — gave him the edge in the closing stretch. Further down, the race produced one of its tightest clusters anywhere in the M30-39 field: Dyszelski, Lolli, and Gonzalez Cuellar crossed within 16 seconds of each other for 8th through 10th, a photo-finish-style grouping that the high-altitude course made all the more impressive.
