Abby Stone controlled the F10-19 race from start to finish, running a composed 10:13/mi average across the 23K. Her gender standing hovered around 23rd–25th through the middle miles, then she reeled in rivals on the closing High Camp→Finish segment — posting the 13th-fastest women's split on that stretch — to finish 19th among all women. On a course that climbs well above 8,000 feet, that kind of late-race surge is no small thing.

Behind Stone, the race's most striking subplot belonged to the Johnson pair. Niki and Britta Johnson — both 17, both from Carnelian Bay — ran virtually identical races, separated by just six hundredths of a second at the line. Niki had the stronger Snow King→KT 22 split (13th-fastest among all women on that segment), while Britta's was 54th on the same stretch, suggesting Niki did more of the work in that middle section before they effectively rejoined at the tape.

Alice Jowers, at 16 and racing on home terrain in Olympic Valley, was the field's most consistent mover — going from 97th among all women at the first checkpoint all the way to 74th by the finish. Zoe Muhlner rounded out the top five in 3:30:58, while Abigail Garcia and Stella Gerlach — both completing a genuinely demanding mountain course — brought the full seven-strong field home.
