The 23-year-old from Oakdale crossed the line in 15:39, running 5:03 per mile through William Land Park's flat, crowd-friendly course on a cool 62°F morning — ideal conditions that Robles exploited to the fullest. His winning margin of 58 seconds over runner-up Melvin Nyairo (16:37, 5:21/mi) wasn't a close call; it was a statement. Nyairo, the 37-year-old from Yuba City, ran a strong race in his own right but was simply racing for second from early on.

The real drama unfolded just behind him. Thirteen-year-old Leon Flesher from Sacramento ran 16:49 to claim 3rd — a remarkable result for someone his age in a men's field of 650. Cody Forman (16:51) and Cameron Mcdonald (16:53) gave chase but couldn't close the gap, with just four seconds separating 3rd through 5th place.
