Bismarck's cool, humid Saturday morning — 58°F with a thick 92% humidity and light wind — set the stage for one of the tightest Masters Women finishes you'll see. Stacey Goerdt, racing in her hometown, crossed in 8:47:03 to take the win, but she earned every second of it. Karli Skjeret of neighboring Mandan pushed her all the way to the line, finishing just 58 seconds back in 2nd, and Laura Anderson — also from Bismarck — slotted in 3rd at 8:48:49. Three women, 106 seconds, and a podium that nobody could have called with confidence until it was over.

The compression didn't stop there. Jennifer Porzondek (4th, 8:50:13), Chelsea Ternes (5th, 8:50:26), Jennifer Perman (6th, 8:50:46), and Cindy Frohlich (7th, 8:51:00) all finished within four minutes of the winner — and within 47 seconds of each other.
