Hortencia Jimenez of CDMX made the F60-64 race her own from the second half onward. Her trajectory among the women's field tells the real story: she was sitting 219th among women at the first checkpoint, but a blistering second half — she ran the 32nd-fastest women's split on that back stretch — carried her all the way to 54th among women by the finish line. That kind of sustained climb through a large women's field, at a 7:56/mi average on San Francisco's demanding course under 87% humidity, is the defining performance of the day in this group.

Behind her, Ann Deioma ran a composed and consistent race. After moving up steadily through the women's field from 177th to 150th and holding that position through the finish, Deioma's 1:51:48 was built on a solid first half and quiet resilience — no dramatic surges, just steady execution. San Francisco's Audi Steele, 64 years old, earned 3rd in 2:03:51, closing with the 369th-fastest women's split on the final leg to lock down the podium.

The race for 4th and 5th was the tightest battle of the day. Brady came in at 2:14:49 and Oppelt at 2:15:16 — 27 seconds across 13.1 miles — but the paths there were strikingly different. Brady had started conservatively (1,258th among women early on) and charged forward aggressively through the middle miles before fading late. Oppelt ran a more measured middle segment, posting the 961st-fastest women's split on the 6.62M–10.65M stretch, and held on to edge within half a minute. Marta Medina (6th, 2:15:56) wasn't far behind, completing a tight cluster of finishers between 2:14 and 2:16 that made the back end of the F60-64 podium race genuinely compelling.
