Running 14:30 per mile across a course that climbs through thin air between 6,200 and 7,100 feet, she crossed first in 1:12:31 and was never seriously threatened at the front. The dry, breezy conditions — 65°F and 17 mph winds with only 19% humidity — kept the heat manageable, but the altitude demands respect regardless of the thermometer, and Reicher handled it cleanly.

Behind her, Jennifer Germann (Felton, CA) and Micaela Russo (Portland, OR) ran a tight secondary battle. Germann held 2nd at 1:14:22, just under two minutes off the winner, while Russo came home 3rd at 1:16:20 — 1:58 further back. That's a genuinely competitive podium: three women within four minutes on a course where the terrain and elevation make every second matter.

The race fractured sharply after the podium. Madeline Rupe (Flagstaff, AZ) was a solid 4th in 1:24:48, but that was already 8:28 off Russo's pace. Ashley Gora Owens and Olga Camina ran closely matched races to claim 5th and 6th — finishing within 72 seconds of each other at 1:31:41 and 1:32:53 — with Alisha Basham just 12 seconds further back in 7th. The back half of the field spread out across the mountain, with Lisa Zheng closing out the 12-woman field in 2:04:18, a testament to just finishing a race at this elevation.
