Rachel Lemcke of Colorado Springs had spent the entire race in sixth, but her 4th-fastest women's split on the Quarry→ALT stretch powered her past two competitors to claim 4th in 4:35:18. Katelyn Kerins of Folsom, CA, held fifth in 4:44:24, with Meghan Windschill (4:47:12), Nicole Buurma (4:53:46), and Isabel Diaz (4:58:23) rounding out a competitive top eight across 83 women who finished on a clear, mild morning in Cool.
