• Grace Gosline (Arab, AL) took the women's title in 20:22 (6:33/mi), never relinquishing the lead and closing with the fastest women's split on the final 1.55-mile stretch to the finish.
• Rhetta Lammi (Germantown, TN) ran 2nd in 21:07, while Hazel Russell (Memphis, TN) moved up from 4th to claim 3rd in 21:34 — overtaking Sarah Inman, who faded from 3rd to 4th in 21:44.
• Places 6–8 finished in a tight cluster: Linley Curry, Lucy Gaston, and Ryleigh Chester all crossed in 22:57, with their order decided by the finest of margins.
• 2,937 women finished on a raw Memphis morning — 34°F, misty, and thick with 94% humidity — on a course that winds through the St. Jude campus before dropping downhill on Union Ave. into AutoZone Park.

Grace Gosline led wire to wire. Holding 1st among women from the opening checkpoint through the downhill finish, she ran 6:33/mi across the full 5K and saved her sharpest effort for the end — posting the fastest women's split on the 1.55M→Finish segment. Her 20:22 would have been a challenge for either of the past two women's winners in their respective years, though the cold mist on B.B. King Blvd. made this anything but a fast-conditions day.

The most compelling on-course battle was the 3rd-vs-4th duel. Hazel Russell, the local Memphis runner, sat in 4th at the midpoint checkpoint and then ran the closing segment faster than Sarah Inman — enough to flip the positions and arrive in 21:34 to Inman's 21:44. A 10-second swing in the second half settled a race that had been Inman's to lose.

Rhetta Lammi, meanwhile, was steady throughout — 2nd at every checkpoint, 2nd at the line in 21:07. She and Gosline matched each other's position all day; what separated them was 45 seconds and a noticeably quicker pace. Hadley O'Donnell (Germantown, TN) rounded out the top five in 22:39, holding 5th from start to finish at 7:17/mi. Behind her, the three-way knot of Curry, Gaston, and Chester — all 22:57 — capped a competitive top-ten across a women's field that turned out in force for St. Jude.
