Activity visibility & hidden details

Control who can see each activity and hide sensitive details.

Who can see an activity

Every activity has an audience, which defaults to Followers:

  • Everyone — anyone, including logged-out visitors.
  • Followers — only people whose follow you've accepted.
  • Only You — private to you.

Set the default for new activities in Settings → Privacy, and change any single activity from its detail page. If your account is private, activities set to “Everyone” are shown to your followers only.

Hiding heart rate, pace, or power

In Settings → Privacy you can hide heart rate, pace/speed, or power from other athletes. These are hidden wherever others view your activities — you always see your own full data.

Hiding the start & end of your routes

Turn on Hide start & end of my routes and choose a radius. On activities other people can see, the map is trimmed near the start and finish so sensitive locations — like your home — aren't revealed. On your own view, the full route is always shown.

A note on race results

These controls apply to activities you sync from connected devices. Your public athlete profile and official race results are separate and remain publicly viewable.
