San Francisco handed out cool, damp conditions — 55°F, 89% humidity, and a light breeze off the Bay — and Aaron Allbritton of San Leandro made the most of them. His 5:30/mi pace held up over 673 men to earn the win, with Skyler Cole of Zionsville pushing him all the way to the line before settling for 2nd in 17:16. The gap of 11 seconds was the closest the top two would get; from there, the next finisher, Joseph Molloy, arrived in 17:51 — a full 35 seconds back.

Molloy's 3rd-place finish at age 53 is the headline subplot of this race. He crossed in 17:51 at 5:45/mi, edging out 28-year-old John Lynch (17:56) and 55-year-old Patrick Rupp (17:59) in a tight three-way battle for the final podium spots. Rupp, for his part, deserves his own mention — finishing 5th overall among 673 men at 55 years old is no small feat.

The Milpitas contingent announced itself loudly in the middle of the field. Kukkala (15) and Kekare (15) ran nearly stride for stride, separated by just one second at 18:52 and 18:53, while their 16-year-old teammate Srikanth followed in 19:08. All three cracked the top ten in a men's field of 673. After the top five, Derek Tao was the next finisher at 18:31, creating a modest gap before the Milpitas wave arrived.

The 20-minute barrier proved a meaningful threshold deeper in the field, with Ivan Zdomskyi (20:12) and Eduardo Soto (20:19) just slipping under it in 14th and 15th, before Richard Qiu (20:20) and Bowen Song (20:21) crossed within a second of each other in 16th and 17th.
